Fenestration China, the largest and most comprehensive brand event dedicated to building envelop industry, has won high recognition and positive awareness both at home and abroad for its specialization and trade effect since its launch in 2003.

From 2009, Fenestration China is upgraded to meet with the Increasing acknowledgement and to ensure further growth and services. 328 exhibitors from 20 nations present approximately 10,000 products in 11 groups in the entire 28,000 sqm of exhibiting spaces, increased by 21 % , compared to the 2008 edition.

Industry Background

In the year of 2009, the flourishing construction market was clouded by the spreading Global Financial Crisis accompanied with the sharp downturn of property industry. Although China is the first country that rided over the crises and the economy is steadily recovering due to an economic stimulus plan of 4 trillion RMB put forward by the Chinese Government, the sagging global market environment still made exporting enterprises suffering. How to help enterprises to explore more new business opportunities becomes the developing direction of Fenestration China.

Undoubtedly, The economic crisis also made a full impact on the exhibition industry. It was estimated that some international construction exhibitions contracted roughly by 50% owing to the all along dropping sales of construction enterprises. Nevertheless, both the exhibitors and the exhibiting spaces of Fenestration China 2009 got big rises at the rate of 15% and 21% respectively, representing its powerful market competitiveness and the widely recognition within its industry.

More than 300 exhibitors from 20 nation’s present approximately 10,000 products in 11 groups in the entire 28,000 sqm of exhibiting space, proving it to be the leading fenestration trade show in Asia again.

  • In Europe

In the year of 2002, China Construction Metal Structure Association (CCSMA) reached an agreement together with Euro Windoor Association on the Euro Windoor Association’s annual meeting to hold a high quality international showcasing and trading platform for windows, doors and curtaining wall enterprises in China .The assistance of Euro windoor Association has laid the solid internationalized foundation for Fenestration China.

In 2004, Fenestration China joined hands with Nürnberg Messe Group, signing its formal entry into the globalization. With the 5 years’ development, the number of the exhibitors in Germany pavilion, which has always been a highlight of Fenestration China,  reached more than 20 up to the year of 2009.

  • In America

In the year of 2007 , an American Pavilion composed of over 10 exhibitors organized by national Fenestration Rating Council added new elements to the internationalization of Fenestration China with the participation of Union Pacific, LLumar, IFG, Johnson & Johnson etc.

  • In Asia

 Fenestration China attracts a great deal of powerful Asian buyers and purchasing groups across the 7 years. Every year, Russian Windows and doors Association would organize hundreds of visitors to Fenestration China. In addition, the flow of visitors from Japan, Korean, and India also showcased the vast purchasing power of Asia. Moreover, nearly 20 sub-associations would also bring abundant visitor resources by organizing local window and door factories, engineering companies and land developers to visit Fenestration China.

  • In Global
In April, 2008, Global Fair Alliance (GFA) was set up. As one of the founding members, Fenestration China not only established close relationship with Feneterbau/frontal, but also reached an agreement with Glassbuild America and Istanbul Window for mutual promotions.
